Trattoria & Pizzeria L'Arcino in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg

We love to go out. Last night we found this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We had a delightful experience there with very good meal and a nice team and a talented cuisine. We put this restaurant in our list and we will definitely go again soon. Highly recommended.

Excellent food! I visited a year ago. On my next visit to NY, I'll return here with my project team for sure. I think the specials list was longer than the menu. 😄 Everything we tasted was divine. You won't be disappointed. Go with a big appetite. Lovely atmosphere and perfect service.

Best Italian food in Astoria. I stopped by while visiting NY and everything was excellent especially the rigatoni and the Vitello parmigiana.

Every time I return here I continue to be impressed with the quality of service and how great the food continues to be. I don’t think they ever have an off night, I have tried so many new dishes, as well as my personal favorites and they always taste great. Their special list is extensive and offers a wide variety of items you won’t find in other restaurants.

Definitely a place worth visiting, the food is excellent and fresh, the costs are convenient and it is consistently well organized here. Great work.

My fiancé brought me to this restaurant to celebrate my Birthday! This restaurant went above and beyond when he made the reservation! When we got there, there was such a beautiful bouquet of roses sitting at the table for me!(pre-organized) The food was beyond amazing and the service was amazing! I definitely will come back here!

Really outstanding. The menu and specials are delicious across the board. Service is impeccable - extremely warm and inviting but never intrusive. There is no place else like this in Astoria. They will help you curate your courses and wine selection, and will never rush you at any stage of the meal. Did I mention the food is delicious? All home-made pastas and delicious meat dishes like osso buco. Make sure you hear all the specials, which may include seasonal items like truffle, fig, or lobster. Very highly recommended.

My kids and I went to this restaurant and sat down, the waiter asked us we need to take our temperature but we went inside and they just told us to sit down outside. That was weird but then we sat down and they brought us bread. He came to take our order and told us the “machine” for the pasta is not working and how he doesn’t have anymore pasta which doesn’t add up because they are known for Italian food and their pasta. The menu said they have everything but said they have no pasta.

Food is excellent and staff is very accommodating. Excellent menu and lots of specials to choose from.

We both had a reservation for outdoor dinner last night with my son and daughter in-law. Weather was perfect. The quality of service and food were great. They made us a chicken parmesan which we both asked which was not on the menu and it was the best. Thank you.

Hands down best restaurant in NYC. Rocco Sacramone is the best talented Italian chef in NYC. I never had a bad meal there.

Excelent place and food.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Requested a reservation same day on Instagram Messenger & got confirmation within two minutes. We split a beautifully fresh lobster salad to start, slow braised oxtail pasta special was fantastic and finished with the homemade classic tiramisu. Food & service excellent and looking forward to returning.

This place was the most horrendous experience I’ve even had. It took almost 2 hours for mediocre food and the excuse was... “because you had an appetizer” Terrible management!

I have been coming here for over 17 years with family, friends and business associates. Have never had a disappointing meal always outstanding food and service.The menu (have not looked at it just go with the many specials) has something for everyone and if you do not see anything tell them what you would like and Rocco will take care of it. My favorites baked clams, stuffed artichoke, filet of sole stuffed with spinach and mascarpone cheese and grilled veal chop. Rocco and his staff make sure everyone has a great time whether regulars or first time dinners. This is always a great dining experience .

Every meal i have had here has been outstanding and I have had over 30. It's so good. My fav app is the burrata, and I love the wild game meatballs.

If you wanna enjoy a great meal where you're treated like family, this is the place to go! The owner is super friendly, our server Carlos was super friendly, and like I said earlier the food was delicious, well prepared, and well plated. Definitely a place you will go back to again!

Trattoria L'incontro is confidently the highest quality Italian restaurant in the Astoria area. It's class on class on class. They have a formal restaurant layout, with an informal vibe, making it a top notch date spot for that special someone. The specials list for each day are off the wazoo, I have no idea how the waiters can memorize such long lists of meal options. The service is always appropriately paced, and the staff provide a smile and help whenever they can. The only downfall is that this place is a bit pricey, but the overall quality of the food and ingredients used make it worthwhile. Definitely recommend this dining experience to all Ditmars Blvd patrons.

Horrible they say there open at noon. Then when I message them They say 130. At 130 I called placed the ordering 3 lobster with Carlo. At 430 Carlo calls me to tell me that we are short and only has 2 lobsters. When I get there he wants to tell me a story I said do I look like Disney with your story. Horrible service think twice before you use them for take out

I've been to fine Italian restaurants across the country and this is one I always go back to if I get time when I'm in Astoria. The food is always fresh, authentic, and delicious! Wine list is very good. Not the most extensive I've seen, but certainly adequate to cover any preference you have. They have everything from entry level wines up to your higher end Bruenellos and Amarones. Food is homemade and authentic. I have not found anything on the menus that I would not eat again. The pasta and meat courses are my favorites. The pasta is cooked to al dente and sauced properly. My favorite is bucatini all'amatriciana. Unfortunately it is a special and not always on the menu but I always find another one that is just as satisfying. Rocco has even made it for me off menu if he has time. The meat dishes are hearty. Short ribs are one my favorites. I also gravitate towards the veal if I don't have the special. I haven't tried many of the others but I imagine they are very good. The seafood dishes are well executed but I tend to stay with the former. The staff is always very courteous and never anything less then professional. They check in on a regular basis without being overbearing. I highly suggest you try this place if you're anywhere near it.

I have had several meals here and I love this place. I had my rehearsal dinner for my wedding and the food is outstanding
